Kenya: Kenya Power Officer Airlifted to Nairobi After Brutal Attack in Isiolo

An officer of the Kenya Power was seriously injured after an attack while on duty in Isiolo County, the company has said.

The employee, who works as a meter reader, was attacked on Thursday, April 9, while on duty. He is said to have sustained serious injuries necessitating his being airlifted to Nairobi for specialised medical treatment.

In a statement after the attack, Kenya Power said the officer was seriously injured, prompting the decision to bring him to the capital.
