The Kenya Meteorological Service Authority (KMSA) has announced that heavy rains will persist across Nairobi and several counties until May 1 in its latest weekly weather update.

As per the weatherman, heavy rainfall will continue in Nairobi, Kiambu, Murang’a, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Embu, Meru, Nakuru, Uasin Gishu, Kisumu, Kakamega, Mombasa, Kilifi, Kwale, Garissa, Wajir, Mandera, Turkana, and Marsabit, with some areas expected to receive intense downpour.
