Kenya: Kenya Met Issues Heavy Rainfall Alert Across Multiple Counties From April 22 to 27

The Kenya Meteorological Service Authority (KMSA) has issued a heavy rainfall advisory warning of intensified rains in several parts of the country between April 22 and April 27.

In the advisory issued on April 21, the department said rainfall is expected to increase across coastal, northeastern and southeastern lowland regions during the period.

The authority noted that rainfall accumulations may exceed 20 millimetres in 24 hours in some areas, particularly along the Coast.
