National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah on Saturday weighed in on the highly contentious Deputy President situation in Kenya, referring to Kithure Kindiki as the new second-in-command.

While addressing mourners at the funeral of Tharaka MP Gitonga Murugara’s mother, Ichung’wah told Tharaka Nithi residents that he had travelled to the county more times than any other county in Kenya, including his very own Kiambu county, mostly because he had very many allies in the county.
