The Kenya Coast Guard Service (KCGS) has issued safety guidelines to Kenyans travelling to the coast for the holidays.
In a post on X on December 23, the Coast Guard urged vacationers to prioritise their safety while enjoying the waters.
To achieve this, they have been advised to wear life jackets when participating in all water activities.
They also informed tourists of their presence at the beaches for safety patrols and urged them to report any suspicious activities they observed.
