Kenya: KenGen Rotary Club Seeks Ksh 52M Grant to Expand Community Outreach

Kenya Electricity Generating Company PLC (KenGen) is seeking to raise $400,000 (approximately Ksh 51.7 million at current exchange rates) to enhance its community impact initiatives.

Through the Rotary Club of Generate (RC Generate), established in 2023 with KenGen’s support, the company aims to secure funds via Rotary International Global Grants. To date, RC Generate has successfully implemented and supported high-impact projects amounting to Ksh 2 million.
