Kenya: Kanini Kega’s Mother Dies Hours After Gachagua Dispatches Him to London

East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) MP Kanini Kega is in mourning following the death of his mother, Mama Annah Nyatoro Wairimu, who passed away early Friday morning.

The news of Mama Annah’s passing was confirmed by Kega himself in an emotional message where he described the loss as devastating to the family.  

“I am devastated and heartbroken. It is well with my soul; however, it is difficult to believe that my mother has rested. It is painful,” he said.
