A journalist who works for Mediamax was reportedly shot by unknown people during live coverage of the ongoing anti-government protests in Nakuru.

Catherine Wanjeri was allegedly shot in the leg while filming the protests at the Nakuru Central Business District (CBD). She was in the company of a fellow journalist who also sustained critical injuries.

In the video seen by Kenyans.co.ke. the two journalists were depicted wriggling on the ground as they shouted for help.
