Kenya: High Court Orders Directors of Failed Startup to Repay Ksh23 Million to Investors

The High Court in Nairobi has ordered the repayment of Ksh 23 million to an investor in a failed startup dispute, after it emerged that funds invested to support the business’s establishment and operations were mismanaged and the venture was not being run as initially presented.

According to reports, the investors had advanced a total of Ksh24.7 million over several months, with the understanding that the funds would be used to develop and run the startup.
