Police officers in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, have arrested a General Service Unit (GSU) officer allegedly attached to the security detail of a Rift Valley governor following the shooting death of a 45-year-old nurse near Eldoret State Lodge.
The officer was arrested after a six-hour manhunt following the killing of Dorris Murei, popularly known as Dori, who was allegedly shot multiple times inside a bar on the evening of Sunday, August 30.
