Muranga County Governor Irungu Kangata has issued sweeping changes targeting more than 7,500 premises under new liquor licensing enforcement measures.

Governor Kang’ata’s administration set the tone following a March 23, 2026, sitting of the Murang’a County Alcoholic Drinks Control Committee, convened to review the status of liquor licensing after the close of the application and objection windows.
