Football Kenya Federation (FKF) President Hussein Mohamed has been suspended by the federation’s National Executive Committee (NEC) following allegations of financial impropriety, including the misappropriation of Ksh42 million meant for the African Nations Championship (CHAN).
The decision, announced on April 24, also saw NEC member Abdullahi Yussuf Ibrahim and Acting CEO Dennis Gicheru ordered to step aside to allow for investigations into the claims.
