Kenya: Five Injured in Crash Between Matatu & Truck on Nairobi-Nakuru Highway

Five people were injured in a grisly road accident involving a truck and a matatu at Rironi on the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway.

The accident, which occurred in the afternoon hours on Monday, January 13, led to a traffic snarl-up paralysing transport activities.

Paramedics from St John Ambulance were the first responders who stabilised casualties on-site before evacuating them to hospital.  

Details of the accident remain unclear but preliminary reports point towards a near head-on collision…
