The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is under pressure to act after motorists protested rising insecurity along major highways, following reports of attacks on the Kisumu-Busia road and Nairobi Expressway.

Motorists travelling between Kisumu and Busia have been urged to exercise extreme caution, particularly at night, following a reported attack near Maseno in which a driver was targeted on Friday morning.
