Detectives drawn from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Tuesday arraigned an alleged notorious carjacker at the Mombasa Law Courts.

The middle-aged man was arrested by DCI detectives from Changamwe on allegations of breaking into a car and making away with Ksh1.4 million.

In a DCI statement, the suspect is said to have broken into a Nissan X trail which was parked outside a supermarket in Mombasa on June 26 this year.
