Kenya: CS Ruku Orders Emergency Desk Nationwide as Heavy Rains Cause Flooding in Nairobi

The Ministry of Public Service has directed all sub-counties to establish public information desks and emergency response centres hours after Nairobi was submerged by heavy floods.

Public Service Cabinet Secretary Geoffrey Ruku has directed Deputy County Commissioners to monitor conditions on the ground and report the number of households needing assistance due to flooding.
