Kenya: CS Ruku Announces Digital Recruitment System to Eliminate ‘Corrupt’ Hiring

The government has announced plans to introduce a new merit-based recruitment system across the public service to enhance fairness, accountability and transparency during job applications in the public service.

Public Service Cabinet Secretary Geofrey Ruku said the technology will minimise human interference in the hiring process and will address long-standing concerns over favoritism in public sector employment.
