Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi has ruled out the possibility of introducing free education for all learners in Kenya, citing extreme budget constraints.

Speaking on Tuesday, February 3, during an interview on Ramogi TV, Mbadi admitted that budget allocation to the education sector was insufficient to clear the entire fees of learners and that the government only subsidises education costs.
