Kenya: CS Kindiki Vows to Take Action Against Alleged Protest Abductors

Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki on Tuesday vowed to take stern action against people who reportedly perpetrated abductions during recent anti-government protests.

In a press statement, the CS noted independent constitutional and statutory agencies had already commenced investigations into the matter.

According to Kindiki once the probe is completed, the government will proceed to prosecute any person or official who will have been found culpable of perpetrating the illegality.
