Kenya: Cabinet Approves Merger of HELB, KUCCPS, and TVET Boards into Single Authority

The Cabinet has given a go-ahead for the merging of various tertiary institutions’ bodies, which oversee student placement, loans, scholarships, and career guidance

According to a cabinet dispatch on Tuesday, February 10,  the Higher Education Loans Board, the Universities Fund (HELB), the TVET Funding Board, and the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) will be merged into a single authority.
