Embakasi East MP Babu Owino and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party interim Secretary General Catherine Omanyo have openly differed over the legitimacy of the upcoming National Delegates Conference (NDC) slated for March 27, 2026.
Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV on Sunday, February 22, Babu laid out conditions for the party’s  NDC, stating that he and others in the Linda Mwananchi faction would only attend the NDC if the delegates are properly audited before the conference.
