Kenya: Anyang Nyong’o to Represent Raila as ODM Leader as Raila Focuses on AUC

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Central Management Committee on Wednesday resolved to appoint Kisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o to act on behalf of party leader Raila Odinga as chairperson of the party committee as he focuses on his African Union Commission (AUC) bid.

The party in its announcement, also summoned a section of Kakamega ODM members including the Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa following in-house party wrangles within the County Assembly.
