Former Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba has landed a new role months after President William Ruto dismissed him from the Cabinet.
Ruto appointed Namwamba as Kenya’s High Commissioner to Uganda on Wednesday January 21, in a diplomatic reshuffle affecting multiple embassies across the region.
The appointment marks Namwamba’s return to active government service following his controversial exit from the Sports docket during last year’s Cabinet shake-up.
