Kenya: AAK Condemns ODPP Over Charges Against Nairobi Planning Committee Members in Manzil Tower Case

The Architectural Association of Kenya has criticized the office of the Director of Public Prosecution (ODPP)  for charging members of the Nairobi City County Urban Planning Technical Committee (UPTC) in connection with the Manzil Tower collapse case.

In a statement on Saturday, June 6, AAK stated that UPTC is just an advisory body and lacks the legal mandate to approve or reject development projects.
