Five people died while another sustained serious injuries after an accident occurred in the Denyenye area along the Likoni-Kombani road in Kwale County.
The Sunday morning accident involved a motorcycle and a truck. It is believed that all the deceased were travelling on the motorbike when the accident occurred.
According to police, the accident occurred when the motorcycle with the five passengers rammed into the lorry from the rear.
