A suspect and his accomplice were on Monday, August 5, arrested for attempting to bribe Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) officers inside the headquarters.
In a statement, DCI indicated that the duo were caught red-handed trying to grease the palms of the officers to secure the release of human trafficking victims currently held at Isinya Police Station in Kajiado County.
The incident took place at DCI headquarters in Nairobi where the two walked in with Ksh50,000 cash.
