Kamuli LC1 chairpersons warned against using official stamps to recover campaign costs

Newly sworn-in Kamuli Local Council leaders have been urged to mobilise residents, enforce laws and lead by example in implementing government programmes.

They were also tasked with protecting children, fighting gender-based violence and insecurity, and avoiding conflicts over official government stamps.

The call was made on Monday during the swearing-in of 774 LC1 chairpersons in Kamuli District at the Bugabula North Constituency headquarters in Balawoli Sub-county.
