Every passing day garbage continues to pile up in the streets, markets and disposal sites in many urban settings.

Agricultural experts say garbage can become a source of employment, if young people are supported to turn it into useful products.

According to Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), Kampala currently generates between 2,000 and 2,500 tonnes of solid waste every day, but experts say much of the garbage choking the city can be transformed into wealth by young innovators.
