Daughter of former Nigeria President, Prof. Iyabo Obasanjo, has confirmed her membership of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), describing the party as her “natural home”.
Iyabo made the confirmation on Saturday
in an interview with Nigerian legend, Segun Odegbami on his 103.7FM Eagle7 Sports, monitored by our correspondent in Abeokuta.
She returned to active politics after about 15 years and joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections in Ogun State.
Speaking during the interview, the former senator confirmed that she is returning to politics after “pressure” from her supporters.
