Nigerian music executive, Olumide Ogunade, popularly known as ID Cabasa, has said the assumption that wisdom is associated with aging is flawed.
He argued that a lot of people who are presumed to be wise because of their experiences often posse obsolete experiences.
The 50-year-old noted that wisdom should be determined by competence rather than experience.
Speaking in a recent episode of The Clarity Zone podcast, Cabasa clarified that he isn’t saying that older people are not smart, but that wisdom shouldn’t be determined by age alone.
