The spokesman for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Ladipo Johnson, has said that it would not be insulting if President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) offered Rabiu Kwankwaso the vice-presidential slot in the 2027 elections.
In an interview with Channels Television’s The Morning Brief on Monday, Johnson said members of the APC reached out to him regarding a possible Tinubu-Kwankwaso pairing
“It’s not insulting to offer him the vice president slot; whether he accepts or not is a different matter,” Johnson stated.
He also added that since the elections in 2023, the NNPP has kept its door open to speaking with any party expressing interest in working for the country’s betterment….
