Relations between Morocco and the United Kingdom are experiencing unprecedented growth, especially since Brexit. The partnership has continued to strengthen to the point where London now sees the Kingdom as a gateway to Africa and a key partner in the region. Pleased with the positive impacts of the association agreement that has pushed bilateral trade to unprecedented levels, the two Kingdoms are preparing to expand this partnership, as there is talk of a possible new, more ambitious commercial and security agreement, supported by heavyweights in British politics such as Boris Johnson. In his first interview with the Moroccan press, the Envoy of the British Prime Minister to Morocco, Rob Butler, who has just completed his first visit to Morocco since his appointment, gives us details of the British vision for Morocco.
