Former Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has dismissed claims that he plans to run for any political office in the 2027 general elections.
The clarification was made on Saturday through a statement issued in Makurdi by his media aide, Dr Terver Akase.
According to reports by the News Agency of Nigeria, speculation had emerged on social media suggesting that Ortom was preparing to contest the Benue North-West Senatorial seat in the next election cycle.
