Residents of Mutukula Cell in Iganga Municipality are demanding the reopening of a public road they say was allegedly sold by previous local leaders and later blocked by individuals claiming ownership of the land.
The disputed Munyegera Road, which residents say was established in 1992, connects the Mbale main road to the Kaliro road and stretches about three kilometres.
