The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) has urged students pursuing the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) course to concentrate on their studies and avoid gossiping or blaming others when they fail examinations.
ICPAU Chief Executive Officer Derick Nkajja said professional accounting courses require discipline, commitment and a strong focus on professionalism, adding that examinations are designed to ensure only competent professionals enter the accountancy profession.
