Hungary sent a delegation led by its Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Itsvan Nagy, to exchange with Chad’s Minister of Agriculture, Kéda Ballah, Minister of Health, Dr. Abdoulmadjid Abderahim, and a representative from the Ministry of Social Action last weekend. The meeting focused on opportunities to strengthen areas such as health, agriculture, and higher education, particularly in Hungarian universities.
Dr. Istvan Nagy, who appreciates Chad’s efforts in ensuring food security, emphasized that the three identified areas for assistance to Chad are crucial for the country’s development. In agriculture, the implementation of a project to create a farm with hybrid seeds is essential. Young people will receive scholarships to study in Hungarian universities to better contribute to agriculture, he announced.
This partnership opens up a new dimension for both countries, according to Chad’s Minister of Agricultural Production and Processing, Keda Ballah. The minister stated that the quality of education provided at the Hungarian University of Agriculture is a benchmark.
