The government says it is on track to achieve universal health coverage in a new partnership between the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Sports, launched last week.
The National Education and Training for Health Policy 2025, launched by Health Minister Dr Ruth Jane Aceng, seeks to address sector gaps and improve service deliveries.
The Minister acknowledges that gaps in health workforce training, weak practical exposure, overcrowding and inconsistent standards have often undermined service deliveries.
