Brian Gwaaka has set a new national beach woodball course record, bettering his previous mark by carding 32 strokes on Sunday to win the second Beach Woodball Circuit at Bunjakko Beach in Mpigi District.

Representing Kampala International University (KIU), Gwaaka lowered his previous record of 34 strokes down to 32 over 12 gates. The record-holder prior to Gwaaka was retired player Geoffrey Towong.
