It’s a last-minute decision. General Mamadi Doumdouya has sacked the Managing Directors of SONAP, Amadou Doumdouya, and EDG, Laye Camara, as well as their respective deputies.
The decision was made public in the middle of the day on Saturday, March 16, 2024, through two decrees read on national television.
Furthermore, these decrees from the transitional president do not mention the reasons for the dismissal of these senior officials.
