In a decree published on the evening of Wednesday, April 17, 2024, on RTG, the president of the transition appointed Moussa Cissé as General Director of the National Oil Company (SONAP).

This former Minister of Economy and Finance in the Goumou Government is replacing Amadou Doumbouya who was dismissed weeks ago by General Mamadi Doumbouya.

The new Director of SONAP, Moussa Cissé, and his team will have the heavy responsibility of overcoming the challenges faced by the company following the explosion of the oil depot in Kaloum, in order to adequately supply the Guinean population with fuel.
