Uganda is pushing for closer regional cooperation to fight illegal gambling and harmonise responsible gaming standards as Africa’s digital betting industry grows under tighter regulatory scrutiny.
Speaking at the inaugural iGaming Africa Summit, National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board CEO Mr Denis Mudene said the market had outgrown national borders and needed a coordinated response.
