Government Presidency: A versatile and dynamic bilateral cooperation between Tunisia and Saudi Arabia

The Head of Government, Ahmed Hachani, received yesterday at the government palace in La Kasbah, Prince Fayçal Ben Bandar Al Saud, President of the International Federation of Esports, in the presence of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Kamel Déguiche.

According to a statement released on the official page of the government presidency, Hachani emphasized the quality of Tunisian-Saudi relations and the determination to further strengthen them.

During the meeting, bilateral cooperation in various fields such as health, energy, pharmaceutical industries, promoting investment in the sports economy, and advancing the e-sports sector in Tunisia as an important driver of future economic dynamics through its value chains and the level of youth employability was discussed.

For his part, Prince Fayçal Ben Bandar Al Saud praised the leadership of Tunisians, especially the youth, in the field of e-sports, due to their technical skills, remarkable industrial sense, and great capacity for innovation. The two parties discussed ways to strengthen joint cooperation in this promising sports sector, particularly in terms of training, internships, and organizing relevant regional and continental events in Tunisia, according to the same source.
