Ghana: Time to formalise activities in forests …dialogue speakers urge govt

Speakers at a two-day National Policy Dialogue (NPD) on the contri­butions of the forest sector to the economic development of Ghana have called on the government to put measures in place to formalise the activities in the forestry sector.

The speakers explained the sector should be formalised through the registration of all the players in the forestry sector value chain as well as the collation of data on all the activities of the players in the value chain.
