Ghana: Teacher shortage in Builsa South to ease – Dr Apaak

THE Deputy Minister of Education, Dr Clement Abas Apaak, has given the assurance that government is taking steps to address teacher shortages in the Builsa South District of the Upper East Region and across the country.

He said the Ghana Education Service (GES) would open a nationwide recruitment portal on April 10, 2026, to engage new teachers, a move expected to help fill staffing gaps in underserved districts such as Builsa South.
