Ghana: Police are ready to ensure violence-free polls – IGP

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr George Akufo Dampare, has assured the public that the Ghana Police Service is fully prepared to ensure a violence-free General Election on December 7.

The IGP who visited some churches in the Greater Accra Region yesterday, said that the police were committed to main­taining law and order throughout the electoral process.
