Ghana: Mahama secures landslide victory… Bawumia concedes defeat; EC to declare Mahama President-elect

The Vice President and Presidential Can­didate of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, says Ghana is more important than any individual politician in the country, as he concedes defeat to former President John Dramani Mahama.

To this end he said it was important that the interest of the country was placed ahead of the in­terest of any individual irrespective of the electoral outcomes in any elections.
