Lekié FF have become the first Cameroonian club to qualify for the CAF Women’s Champions League (WCL) after finishing top of the UNIFFAC qualifying tournament.
The Cameroonian side secured their place in the continental finals on Friday after holding DR Congo’s Football Academy Msichana to a 0-0 draw at the Omnisports Annex Stadium No. 1.
The point was enough to send Lekié FF through after they completed the tournament unbeaten, collecting five points from one victory and two draws.
