Ghana: Give anti-graft bodies financial freedom — Special Prosecutor

The Special Prosecutor, Mr Kissi Agyebeng, has called for anti-corruption institutions to be given constitutional and financial independence to enable them to fight corruption effectively.

He said the existing statutory and financial frameworks governing anti-corruption institutions were inadequate and needed to be reformed to guarantee their independence and effectiveness.
