Ghana: Farmers, fishers honoured at district level

 This year’s Farmers’ Day was marked across the districts to honour farm­ers, fishers at the local levels for their enormous contributions to the development of agriculture in the country.

For their contributions in promoting food security of the country, the winners apart from certificates, were presented with prizes such as, freezers, tricycles, Polytanks, cutlasses, agro-chem­icals, Wellington boots, wax prints and knapsack sprayers.
