Ghana: EC sets Sept.9 to Sept.13 as nomination periodfor 2024 presidential, parliamentary elections

The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that nominations for the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections would open on Monday, September 9 and closed on Friday, September 13.

Filing fee for presidential candidates is set at GH¢100,000, with a reduced fee of GH¢75,000 for female candidates and persons with disabilities while parliamen­tary candidates would pick the forms at GH¢10,000.
